Bethesda Would “Love” Fallout 76 Crossplay & More
Bethesda has said that it would “love” to have crossplay in Fallout 76. And it seems that they’ve been trying to implement it. However, there has been one major problem. According to Todd Howard, Sony hasn’t exactly been helpful with it. Mr. Howard didn’t say anything about Microsoft. This could mean that PC and Xbox players would be able to crossplay.
In other Fallout 76 news, the trailer version of Country Roads has been released on iTunes. Furthermore, all proceeds from the game’s sale will go to Habitat for Humanity.
Bethesda has also said that their strategy behind the game isn’t the future for the studio. They said that they were taking an approach similar to Elder Scrolls Online. However, this approach wouldn’t work for every game, and they would vary their approach depending on the specific project.
France Determined Loot Boxes Aren’t Legally Gambling
France’s gambling authority has been looking into loot boxes for the past several weeks. They were trying to decide whether or not loot boxes were gambling. In their ruling, they found that they were legally considered gambling. The core principal in their ruling was that players always received something in their box.
However, they did say that they were worried about loot boxes, and called for a European wide strategy to deal with its rise.
Cyan Is Planning New Myst Games
Cyan has announced that they are planning several more Myst games with a slight twist. They’ll be focusing on AR and VR. The news comes as the entirety of the franchise made its way onto GoG.com.
