$100,000 could buy you a lot of nice things. An entirely new wardrobe, a brand new car, heaps of new games that would make your Steam library look minuscule in comparison, but what about spending $100,000 on none of these things and instead spending it all on a single Pokemon Trading Card.
A copy of the ‘Pikachu Illustrator’ Pokemon Trading Card is currently listed on eBay for exactly that much money which justifies asking for such a large asking price by being just one of six copies in circulation. The card has been graded a ‘Mint: 9’ grade also meaning that you know full well that the card will be in perfect condition.
The owner of the card has already turned down a total of 504 bids and has reportedly set a personal target of around $50,000 for the card… do you think he will do it?
