The “test drive” starts on February 16th, at 11 a.m. PT., and will close on Monday, the 19th, at 11:59 p.m. PT. The free weekend will be available on every platform the game is currently available on, which includes PC, PS4 and Xbox One (I’m still holding on to my dream of a Switch port).
The entirety of the game will be available, every map, every character and each and every game mode! This is a great time for the free weekend, as the game is currently holding its Lunar Event for the “Year of the Dog” Chinese New Year. This means there are seasonal skins, items and a capture the flag game mode, which is not present year-round. While there is no pre-download for the game on PC, PS4 and Xbox One owners have that option available to them now.
As all your progress from the weekend will carry over if you choose to purchase the game, now is a great time to get one of the most popular and acclaimed games on the market.
