The 20th Anniversary Edition of Eric Chahi’s classic cinematic adventure game Another World (a.k.a. Out of This World) has been released on the Mac App Store.
Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition is brought to the Mac App Store by Dotemu and BulkyPix, and was released yesterday at a price of $9.99/€8.99, this being the updated version of the game which was originally released on iPhone and iPad in 2011, with an Android version being released last year.
According to a press release, the 20th Anniversary Edition includes the following:
* Switch between Original/HD graphics.
* 3 difficulty modes, Normal (easier than original game), Difficult (Equal to original game) and Very Hard (more difficult than original game).
* 100% remastered Sounds and FX.
* Game Center with 13 achievements.
* 12 languages support (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian).
Also, the iOS version has apparently received a new update adding the following features:
* iPhone/iPad version now iCade, GameTel and iControlPad compatible.
* New languages supported: Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese and Korean.
* Optimized for iOS 6.
