Things just keep getting worse for Curt Shilling’s 38 Studios. If their initial financial woes (and eventually being able to make a payment to the state of Rhode Island) were not bad enough, the Rhode Island EDC board has decided to “take no action” to aid the ailing company at this time. After the meeting, Governor Lincoln Chafee said the financial situation of the studio has not changed since last week. He did state that the company did make some layoffs and has undergone some internal shifts.
