Nintendo confirmed over on there Twitter account that a version of Fire Emblem: Awakening will come to the 3DS in the near future. They did not mention if it will also be coming to Europe yet, but we speculate that a version will be announced soon.
There has been a lot of talk as to why Nintendo choose to announce this after their E3 press conference. There is a big fan base that follows this franchise very closely and it seems very odd not to have this part of there live stream conference. This is big news, so why not announce it to the audience who want to hear it?
Nintendo did make several mentions to keep eyes peeled on there social networks over the following week for new announcements so perhaps they really are trying to push them.
The Twitter post read “We are excited to confirm a NEW game announcement coming to the US: the new 3DS Fire Emblem! More info to come.”
