Nintendo’s new Steel Driver: Sub Wars is a nice addition to the eShop. There is a free version of the game and the premium which costs $9.99 in the U.S. This first-person submarine’s objective is to destroy all the enemy ships and submarines. There are multiple subs to choose from and each one is customizable thus allowing the player to alter their submarine to their individual playstyle. After playing through mission mode, the multiplayer option becomes unlocked. In multiplayer, gamers can play four against four. The game will automatically create A.I. bots to fill in the empty slots. Steel Diver: Sub Wars may be the tip of Nintendo’s free-to-play games and if the others are just as entertaining then the Big N has a bright future within this game form. Steel Diver: Sub Wars is available now on Nintendo’s 3DS eShop, why not try the free version of the game and see if you’re cut out to be in a submarine battle!
