Just in time to miss Black Friday and Cyber Monday completely, it seems as though Nintendo will be bundling a blue 3DS XL with a copy of Mario Kart 7. When? According to CheapAssGamer, next week. How much? $199.99. To confirm the existence of the bundle, CAG provided a (rather tiny) image of the bundle. It has since been blown up:

Additionally, between CAG and NeoGAF, the original 3DS handheld is said to be getting a price drop to $139.99 in two weeks, with Target selling the system for $129.99. This can be taken as a rumor for the time being as both have stated that this could only be for a sale of some kind and not an official price drop.

Hopefully no one who bought a 3DS/XL recently comes across this rumor. I can only imagine that they’d be a little upset.
