<p>PC gaming has recently seen a surge of console-only games coming to the platform. <em>Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster</em>, <em>Tales of Symphonia</em>, <em>NiER Automata</em>, <em>Tekken 7</em>, the list goes on and on. However, there are still key franchises that have never come to the PC platform. Here are five game series that need to come to PC.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Persona Games</h3>

<p>PC gamers have recently shown a great interest in JRPGs with<em> Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster</em> and <em>Tales of Zestiria</em>, so why not let Steam players visit the Velvet Room to begin their adventure? The Vita and the PS2 are platforms that have been left behind and the series has been rising in popularity ever since <em>Persona 3</em> and <em>Persona 4&#8217;s</em> releases. I&#8217;m sure that many PC gamers and Persona fans would be willing to get a remastered version of the games on PC and PS4 in anticipation of Persona 5. Steam users have an obscure taste in video game storytelling with titles such as <em>Half-Life</em>, <em>Undertale</em>, and <em>The Witcher</em>. PC players have also shown an interest in side quests within games with the success of Stardew Valley. Even more people would know about the series&#8217; complex characters and excellent soundtrack! Plus, the game has simple controls with turn-based battles and basic exploration gameplay mechanics. Any modern title from the <em>Persona</em> series would be a great addition to any PC gamer&#8217;s library!</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Red Dead Redemption and RDR 2</h3>

<p><em>Bully</em>, <em>Grand Theft Auto</em>, <em>L.A Noire</em>, and <em>Max Payne</em> are on PC, so why not <em>Red Dead Redemption</em>? Fans have been crying out for the game to be ported over as it provides a large Wild West open world to explore, a long campaign with an engaging narrative, and fun out-of-the-ordinary multiplayer modes. Also, whenever you type in Red Dead Redemption on Google, &#8220;Red Dead Redemption PC&#8221; comes up. There is interest! Kris Roberts, who was the lead multiplayer designer, said on a Twitch stream (via <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/articles/red-dead-redemption-pc-edition-never-seriously-con/1100-6430945/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">GameSpot</a>), &#8220;I don&#8217;t think there was ever an intention to have a PC version of Red Dead Redemption. I was honestly very shocked when they did a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V.&#8221; Despite that surprise, <em>Grand Theft Auto V</em> has sold 4,928,031 copies since its release (at the time of writing), according to <a href="http://steamspy.com/app/271590" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">steamspy</a>. The sequel, <em>Red Dead Redemption 2</em>, looks stunning in its one-minute teaser trailer and we hope at some point both titles release on the PC platform, so they can reach their full potential in terms of graphical ability and mods!</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Kingdom Hearts 3 and the HD ReMIXs</h3>

<p>Just like Rockstar Games, Square Enix has left one of their major franchises out of the way from PC. <em>Dragon Quest</em> made its debut last year with <em>Dragon Quest Heroes</em> and <em>Final Fantasy</em> has now had a long-running history with the platform. With <em>Kingdom Hearts 3</em> being developed on Unreal Engine 4, a PC version of the game would be cool to see! Playing this game at the highest definition possible would be great as the art behind it is beautiful and recently, it has been confirmed that <em>Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue</em> will be PS4 Pro compatible. In addition, it would be great for those on PC to play the <em>Kingdom Hearts</em> games for the first time in a <em>1.5/2.5 HD ReMIX</em> combo pack like the PS4 with an unlocked frame rate and mod support. It&#8217;s always great to see a cherished series make its way to PC, and hopefully Kingdom Hearts will join those ranks.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Destiny</h3>

<p>It&#8217;s shocking that this title hasn&#8217;t arrived on PC yet. <em>Destiny </em>fits the mantra of many MMO&#8217;s already available on the platform. Collecting loot and entering dungeons, grinding up levels (light system), and enduring raids in intense fashion are all a lot of fun and PC gamers would love to be a part of it all! The PC is an untapped market for the game, which has recently released its complete edition on consoles. Eric Osborne, Bungie&#8217;s senior writer and community manager said to <a href="http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/05/23/destiny-could-get-pc-version-cross-platform-saves" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">IGN</a>, &#8220;We have a lot of people who play on PCs. We have a lot of appetite to build that experience. We haven’t announced it yet, but we’re looking forward to talking more about that kind of stuff in the future.” It has been more than 3 years since that interview, and we haven&#8217;t heard anything regarding a PC port. Perhaps we will get it on PC with the rumored sequel?</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Final Fantasy XV</h3>

<p>As previously said, <em>Final Fantasy</em> has had a long history on the PC platform, and in the last few years, Square Enix ported <em>Final Fantasy X HD Remaster</em>, the <em>Final Fantasy XIII</em> series, and many other titles in the series. However, we have not received an official confirmation on whether or not the fifteenth title will be available on PC. With the amazing graphics on the console versions, one can only imagine what it would look like on PC with enhanced settings, better textures, and maybe even some 4K support. If mods were available too then this game could be the next <em>Skyrim</em> with its open world, characters, and environments to play in. In March, Hajime Tabata, the director of the game, <a href="https://www.engadget.com/2016/03/30/final-fantasy-xv-release-date-anime-movie-pc/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">was interviewed by Engadget</a> about the possibility of a PC version. He said, &#8220;We will definitely take a good, hard look at PC and what we need to do, and consider all our options.&#8221; He later said, &#8220;But right now we aren&#8217;t decided; we&#8217;re still considering a lot of things.&#8221; It has been a while since the last big AAA JRPG was released on PC, but I hope <em>Final Fantasy XV</em> will make it to the platform; until recently, we waited 10 years for this game – so you might as well treat PC gamers as well, Square Enix.</p>
