Nintendo’s rainbow-colored, third-person shooter’s alive and well, rest assured. It’s also getting its own Nintendo Direct in case you were interested this next Thursday.
In the past few months, we’ve learned that Splatoon’s got a single-player campaign and enough hours of last E3 showed us it definitely has a multiplayer campaign. It won’t, however, have voice-chat as far as we know unlike Mario Kart 8’s friends-only voice chat. Folks have hoped that that might change in the time between now and release. We’ll see.
Tune in on May 7th, at 9 am Central over at Nintendo’s Direct site or wait for when the game comes out this May 29th.
