French studio Enigami have released a new trailer for their action-RPG Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom.
In this trailer, Enigami showcase more of the environments of Mahera, the fighting game-esque combat system, and the progression system.
In this game, you can attack, parry, dodge and make combos by using physical and magical attacks against your opponents. Five characters will be at your disposal and each have their own specific abilities for both of its combat and puzzle sections. The main character, Chado, for example, is able to summon a boulder that he can act as a counterweight for a puzzle pad.
You can also use these abilities to find secret areas of the environment such as an obscured cave. New skills can be unlocked by finding parchments in the world and take the form of hyper moves, magic, boons, and curses.
Shiness is also originally a manga, and both the game and the manga are meant to compliment each other’s narrative.
Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is scheduled to hit PC sometime this year. You can check out more about the game on its official website.
