Activision threw a pineapple at the ‘revelation’ that Deadpool was heading for the Wii U, insisting that no platform has actually been confirmed for the game just yet. The rumor began when last week during Comic-Con, a fan asked at the Marvel panel, “Deadpool is awesome. I wanted to ask about the Kinect game. Can I play?”
The response to this was, “You will be able to play on the Wii U!”
It turns out, the fan who asked the question was referring to Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth, which is heading to the Wii U and 360. Nintendo Everything contacted Activision for their comments on Deadpool for the Wii U and Activision responded, “No platforms have been officially announced at this time.”
