It has came to light that Activision’s UK Boss, Peter Hepworth, has left the company in order to “pursue new opportunities”.

It should be noted that this doesn’t nesserily mean that something terrible has happened at Activision, after all, Peter Hepworth originally joined the company in 2005 and became MD in August 2011 so has been at the company for a long time so maybe a change is what was really desired.

An Activision spokesperson stated the following:

“Peter Hepworth, Managing Director of Activision’s UK operations has decided to leave the company to pursue new career opportunities. We will be continuing to work with Peter on UKIE initiatives and would like to thank him for his many years of service. In the interim, the Activision Blizzard UK and Ireland business will be overseen by Andrew Brown, Vice-President of Sales Excellence, while we look at a longer term solution.”
