In this video for the upcoming survival horror, Alien: Isolation, developers Creative Assembly, discuss the impact of the alien and its movements in the game and how it’s designed to make sure the player will “never feel safe”. An interesting point they discuss is that the alien won’t follow a pattern but rather, move based on actions taken by the player. Players will have to traverse the game very carefully in order to not alert the alien. It’s a powerful foe and although there will only be one if it in the game, that’s one too many!

Alien: Isolation, to be published by Sega, is set for release late this year for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
