All Walls Must Fall Out on Steam Early Access

Are you in the mood for more tactical games? Developer inbetweengames may have you covered with All Walls Must Fall. The 2-and-a-half year in development kickstarter project is out now on Steam Early Access for $9.99 with a current 30% discount offer bringing that price down to $6.99. The promotion is valid until March 2nd.

All Walls Must Fall is set in 2089 in Berlin under the conceit that the Cold War never ended. The “Tech-Noir” tactics game is set primarily in techno clubs as players use time travel to put an end to the nuclear war. The protagonist has only one night to prevent a nuclear attack from ravaging life. All Walls Must Fall promises a replayable campaign structure due to its “procedurally recombined” levels. Though, it also offers individually crafted set pieces and game components. Inbetweengames draws inspiration from the likes of X-Com, Syndicate, The Banner Saga, Braid, SUPERHOT, and Crypt of the Necrodancer.

All Walls Must Fall, inbetweengames

Inbetweengames is an independent development studio founded in Berlin by three former YAGER employees. These YAGER veterans were still employed by the company in the summer of 2015 while working on Dead Island 2. After learning that the publisher handed off development to another team, the developers realized YAGER would soon be made redundant. They abandoned ship and formed inbetweengames, releasing their first title in the process–The Mammoth: A Cave Painting. The trio grew tired of triple-A development’s constraints and demands. Seeing their cancelled work convinced the group to start anew under a smaller studio so that they could make the games they wanted.

Their first game, The Mammoth: A Cave Painting, released to positive critical reception across PC, Mac, Android, and iOS devices at the incredibly low price of FREE. It released on August 24, 2015, currently holding a very positive 90% user rating on Steam. The title spends five minutes telling the 5 million year story of the mammoths.
