This year is going to be huge in gaming–just the first quarter of 2016 will see the likes of Street Fighter V, Far Cry Primal, and Fire Emblem Fates. All of these games, and the surge to follow, will have a heavy impact on your wallet, but Amazon.com seeks to change that with a new offer announced for Amazon Prime members.

Any current or future member of the service will receive 20% off the total purchase price of physical videogame pre-orders, plus the discount will extend for two weeks after the release of these games. That’s about $12 off of each typical console game. The offer also applies to special and limited edition games.

The substantial discount provided by Amazon is a viable way for the company to expand its reach to gamers. Not only does an annual membership to Amazon Prime now provide you with the 20% off discount, but it also promises members free “Release-Date Delivery.”

Unfortunately, the discount has only been announced for Amazon’s American site. There has been no word on delivering the perk to other territories.
