Michael Pachter, an analyst for Wedbush Securities has made claims that the Wii U Pro Controller was designed to accommodate Call of Duty for the Wii U. However, he has no source for this claim, stating, “Activision never said anything to me, but I know that {for) big games like Call Of Duty they said, ‘No, we’re not putting it on there if you don’t give us a conventional controller’. So (Nintendo) gave in.”
