Developer Rovio has revealed that Angry Birds 2 has been downloaded 10 million times in just 4 days.
The sequel has been praised for its new graphical style and the introduction of a multi-puzzle layout. However, many people are upset with the game’s free-to-play mechanics. If a player fails to complete a level, they lose a life. Once all lives are lost, that player cannot play Angry Birds 2 unless they wait for their lives to refill or spend money to buy more.
Angry Birds 2 released on July 30 for iOS and Android devices.
