You may have heard that an Angry Birds film will soon be flocking to cinema screens across the world in the hope to get yet even more money from the flock of creatures which seem to take joy in knocking down small buildings and taking out pigs. Well that film may actually turn out to be pretty good as Jon Vitti has agreed that he will work with Rovio by writing the film!
Jon Vitti is mostly known for his fantastic writing talents in writing success stories such as ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘King of the Hill’. When asked for their thoughts after announcing the partnership, Rovio CEO Mikael Hed had this to say:
“I’m very excited that Jon and Catherine have joined us, bringing with them their vast expertise. I’m confident we are building the right team to deliver an amazing movie experience to our fans.”
The Angry Birds film itself is due to be released in cinemas worldwide in 2016. Will you be one of the (hopefully many) games fans to go and see the film?
