<p>Rovio has confirmed numerous Angry Birds statistics for the week of December 22nd – 29th, otherwise known as “Christmas Week” to everyone else on the planet.</p>
<p>In that single week, Angry Birds was downloaded a whopping total of 30 million times. Of this 30 million title, the title was activated 17.4 million times on Christmas Day on new devices such as Android and iOS tablets and smartphones whilst it sold 8 million copies on the big day itself.</p>
<p>Not only does this mean that there are now a lot more Angry Birds flying around in our day-to-day lives but it also means that there was one Angry Birds download for every (other) new device sold during this week.</p>
<p>That’s gotta liven up those little Birds now hasn’t it?</p>
