You have most likely already heard of Angry Birds, the hit mobile series which sees you catapulting birds with different abilities towards structures in order to squish green pigs to be rewarded with golden stars. If you still haven’t experienced the game however or wish to do so on a bigger screen then Rovio (the games developers) have got you covered as they have announced that the Angry Birds Trilogy will be released later this year for both Wii and Wii U.
The game itself is due out in North America on August 13th although the European release date has yet to be confirmed by the company. This is the first time that the Angry Birds series will be coming to a Nintendo home console although the game is already available on the Nintendo 3DS.
With an extra “40 hours” of additional gameplay provided for the game on the Wii and Wii U, will you be tempted to finally get in on the Angry Birds phenomenon?
