Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem Coming to Mobile

<p>Nintendo has had a huge hit on their hands with their first mobile app&comma; <em>Miitomo<&sol;em>&comma; which has garnered 10 million users to date&period; While <em>Miitomo<&sol;em> has a very casual appeal&comma; Nintendo is soon to release two new games based on popular franchises to the mobile world&period; Nintendo announced today that games based on <em>Fire Emblem<&sol;em> and <em>Animal Crossing<&sol;em> are on their way&comma; and these games will give experiences closer to traditional gaming experiences than the casual accessibility of something like <em>Miitomo<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to a press release from Nintendo&comma; the <em>Fire Emblem<&sol;em> game will be made more accessible than the traditional games in the series on Nintendo&&num;8217&semi;s consoles&comma; however &&num;8220&semi;<em>Nintendo aims to offer the great value of a role-playing strategy game<&sol;em>&&num;8220&semi;&period; It will be interesting to see how this translates into a more approachable game based on how hardcore the <em>Fire Emblem<&sol;em> games can be&period; <em>Fire Emblem<&sol;em> seems ideal though based on simple movement of units via touchscreen&comma; comparable to how they have been played on the DS family of systems&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;105367" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-105367" style&equals;"width&colon; 1024px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"size-large wp-image-105367" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2016&sol;04&sol;03184637&sol;FireEmblem&lowbar;012931&lowbar;1600-1024x384&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Fire Emblem&comma; Nintendo&period;" width&equals;"1024" height&equals;"384" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-105367" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">Fire Emblem&comma; Nintendo&period;<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>The <em>Animal Crossing<&sol;em> game is being designed so that it will be used in conjunction with the <em>Animal Crossing<&sol;em> games on &&num;8220&semi;<em>dedicated gaming systems<&sol;em>&&num;8220&semi;&period; This is pretty interesting as we have the more recently released <em>Animal Crossing&colon; Happy Home Designer<&sol;em> which has been a hit for Nintendo&comma; but one wonders if there will be a game coming for the NX next year as well&period; Both games are slated to be released in the fall&comma; as well per the press release&comma; Nintendo noted that both of these are &&num;8220&semi;<em>pure game releases<&sol;em>&&num;8221&semi; and will be more in line with traditional gaming experiences than <em>Miitomo<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While the <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;legend-zelda-delayed-2017&sol;">news that <em>Zelda<&sol;em> for Wii U has been delayed<&sol;a> to launch alongside the NX in the spring of next year was a bit of a downer&comma; it will be interesting to see where mobile continues to take Nintendo&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;nintendo&period;co&period;uk&sol;News&sol;2016&sol;April&sol;Nintendo-provides-updates-on-mobile-NX-and-The-Legend-of-Zelda-along-with-annual-earnings-1102529&period;html">Nintendo<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
