<p>Consulting company Interbrand has named 2013&#8217;s most valuable brand in the world and for the first time in the companies history, Coca Cola has been beaten to the top by tech company Apple.</p>
<p>This means that Apple has gone from being eighth (2011) to second (2012) to being the most valuable brand in the world. This report estimates that Apple&#8217;s brand value is $98.3 billion.</p>
<p>In the video game space, Microsoft placed fifth, Sony placed forty-sixth and Nintendo placed sixty-seventh.</p>
