You may have read online that both the June 2012 and June 2013 MacBook Air laptops have been having issues which can lead to data loss.

The problem, which appears to be affecting both 64 GB and 128 GB models, has been addressed by Apple who have released a firmware update for the mid-2012 MacBook Air which, if it detects that your drive is one of the models that requires a replacement, will magically transport you a page on Apple’s website that will give you the ability to obtain a replacement drive which should resolve any possible issues.

Does this issue impact on you?
