Sega has revealed that the second expansion pack for Company of Heroes 2 will be entirely single player focused. Ardennes Assault will concentrate on the Battle of the Bulge, a German counterattack that took place between 16 December 1944 and 25 January 1945 in Belgium. Fans of the Band of Brothers miniseires will remember this battle as the backdrop to two of the show’s best episodes.
Players will take control of three US army companies as they fight against the forces of the German Oberkommando West. The campaign includes 18 missions, which is more than the main campaign of Company of Heroes 2. As you progress through the game your decisions, upgrades and Veterancy bonuses are carried over from one mission to the next.
Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault is set for a PC release on November 18 2014.
