<p><span style="font-weight: 400">An alpha build of the upcoming JRPG is available to download for free from the </span><a href="http://www.arelitecore.com/"><span style="font-weight: 400">game’s official website</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, developer Dragon Slumber have announced.</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Arelite Core </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">was revealed back in 2014 and “bridges the gap between traditional and modern JRPGs, bringing new concepts to tried and true designs and presented with high-definition retro inspired graphics.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Final Fantasy</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">-esque PC game boasts custom heroes, over 80 monsters, retro-inspired NES-style music tracks, the ability to forge unique weapons and armour, a bunch of secrets, collectibles, secret boss battles and more.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The alpha allows players to explore early portions of the game. Kevin Giguère, lead designer and sole developer on </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Arelite Core</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">,</span> <span style="font-weight: 400">is looking to get as much feedback as is humanly possible, prior to the game’s release later this year.</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Arelite Core </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">is slated to release in Autumn 2016 for PC, with a Mac OS version of the game a possibility in the future.</span></p>
