Those waiting to find out the news about this spring and summer’s upcoming games will not have to wait much longer because later today North America will be receiving the ARMS and Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct.

So far, Nintendo previously announced Splatoon 2 will feature new weapons such as the special Splat Dualies that use a brand new move called Dodge Roll. The Splat Roller and Splat Charger from the first Splatoon game are remixed to freshen up the battlefield. Both local and online multiplayer modes are available in the second game. Having a home console that includes the ability to play as a handheld will make the second installment of the inkling game all the more fun.

ARMS is a completely new IP from Nintendo. Players will be able to choose a champion and equip their own extendable arms combo. The Switch controllers allow gamers to take a more active roll in fighting their opponent. Hopefully the Nintendo Direct tomorrow will shed light on the various arms and champions. One piece of information Nintendo fans are waiting to hear more of is the different modes that will be playable.

The Direct video will air on both Twitch and on Nintendo’s official website on Wednesday, April 12th at 3 pm PT or at 6 pm ET. This video presentation will be focused mostly on the Switch games Splatoon 2 and ARMS. Most likely, the release dates for these games will be announced during the video. Another possible announcement could be a Switch and game bundle.
