As if the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Ezio Saga collection wasn’t enough to entice you, it would seem that an Anthology Edition, which will include all five Assassin’s Creed games, is in the works. Of course, Ubisoft didn’t make the initial reveal; we have to thank Amazon France for that.
Ubisoft has, apparently, confirmed to IGN that the Anthology is real, but neglected to specify pricing, release date and which platforms it’s coming to; you know, all the important stuff. Still, we can at least look at the above image to figure out what’s coming with the Anthology Edition. As stated before, all 5 Assassin’s Creed games will be included, but all of the DLC –both Single and Multiplayer– will also come in this new edition, along with five lithographs and an exclusive steelbook.
It should be noted that, at one point on the leaked image, it states that the Anthology will have all the AC games that have been release on the Xbox 360. This could mean that it’s an Xbox 360 exclusive. When taking into account the PS3 exclusive Ezio Saga and the fact that Ubisoft didn’t confirm any particular system that the Anthology would release on, would it be so wrong to think that this is only coming to the Xbox 360?
Who knows, but if I know Assassin’s Creed/Ubisoft, more info will be leaked before Ubisoft gets around to making an official announcement themselves.
