Doubts for an Assassin’s Creed remaster can requiescat in pace because II, Brotherhood, and Revelations has been announced for an enhanced collection on PS4 and Xbox One called The Ezio Collection. It is scheduled to release on November 15th, 2016 in North America and 17th in Europe.
The trilogy of games will have “enhanced graphics,” but Ubisoft have not explained what they have added. The videos they have attached to their blog post are representative of the PC games on high quality, but they are not portraying the final version of The Ezio Collection. The collection will also include all the single player DLC that has been released and the short films Assassin’s Creed Embers and Assassin’s Creed Lineage. For those interested in the multiplayer portion of the games, unfortunately The Ezio Collection will not include this feature. However, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag‘s multiplayer is still available to play.
Alongside this announcement, Ubisoft has shared news that the series has sold over 100 million copies. The Assassin’s Creed movie – starring Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, and Jeremy Irons – is sneaking its way to theaters on December 21st.
