The latest trailer for upcoming Ubisoft title Assassin’s Creed III shows Half-English, Half-Mohawk protagonist Connon Kenway taking out Red Coats in style, free-running through Colonial towns and fighting his way through massive battlefields. That shows the impressive scope that Ubisoft hopes to offer players in the latest entry into the series.
Something that may interest those fans who also enjoy history is how the game will handle the role Native Americans played during the American Revolutionary War. Historically, most Native American tribes were either neutral or supported the British. The Mohawks were involved in many attacks against rebel settlements.
The trailer shows Connor mostly attacking the British, he does elude to having no particular loyalty to either side.
Assassin’s Creed 3 releases in North American on October 30 and PAL territories on November 1.
