Another year, another Assassin’s Creed title. Ubisoft already stated that another Assassin’s Creed would be releasing during their 2014 fiscal year, but aside from the knowledge that it would feature a new protagonist and setting, we had no other information about it. Now, however, due to an image received by Kotaku, we may very well know the name, and the subject, of the next Assassin’s Creed. How do you feel about pirates and rum?
The image of the poster clearly shows a name, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and shows an assassin in a pirate filled world (look at the beard on that guy in purple and the flag in the background). The poster itself is said to go up in various game stores next Monday (March 4th), so there’s a chance that Ubisoft may make an official announcement between now and then.
A pirate themed Assassin’s Creed title would be the perfect thing, wouldn’t it? Say what you will about Assassin’s Creed III, but the boat and naval battles were definitely the highlights of the life of Connor Kenway.
