Assassin’s Creed Memories Introduces Card Battling To The Franchise

<p>It seems that Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed&colon; Unity won&&num;8217&semi;t be the only game in the franchise to be released this year&period; Ubisoft have just announced that they are developing a card battling spin off for iOS devices called Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed Memories&period; The game allows you to create and customise your own assassin and then engage in battles across all the different time periods from the series&comma; as well as in some brand new ones&period; Ubisoft has promised that on top of a  robust single player campaign&comma; Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed Memories will also feature 20 vs&period; 20 multiplayer battles&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game is being developed by GREE and PlayNext&comma; companies with a lot of experience in the mobile market&period; According to GREE vice president Eiji Araki &comma; &&num;8221&semi;t<span style&equals;"color&colon; &num;141415&semi;">he card battle genre is all about being able to evolve and grow great heroes and this franchise has created some of the most epic characters in gaming today&period;&&num;8221&semi; Following the success of Blizzard&&num;8217&semi;s card based Warcraft spin off Hearthstone&comma; there has been a notable rise in interest for the genre&period;  Could card battling games replace MOBAs as the new bandwagon for publishers to jump on&quest; We&&num;8217&semi;ll just have to wait to find out&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed Memories is free to play and will launch this summer for iPod Touch&comma; iPhone and iPad&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;blog&period;ubi&period;com&sol;assassins-creed-memories-announced&sol;">Ubiblog<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
