Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Leaked and Announced

<p>In what is becoming a ritual for the Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed franchise&comma; Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed Odyssey leaked through physical merch&period; This time it&&num;8217&semi;s a keychain&period; Following the leak&comma; Ubisoft confirmed its existence&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote class&equals;"twitter-tweet" data-width&equals;"500" data-dnt&equals;"true">&NewLine;<p lang&equals;"en" dir&equals;"ltr">As is tradition&comma; the next Assassin&&num;39&semi;s Creed has leaked via retail merchandise&period; It&&num;39&semi;s AC Odyssey&comma; set in ancient Greece&comma; and I hear it&&num;39&semi;s got dialogue choices among other things <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;t&period;co&sol;rV34kwqVqW">https&colon;&sol;&sol;t&period;co&sol;rV34kwqVqW<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&mdash&semi; Jason Schreier &lpar;&commat;jasonschreier&rpar; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;twitter&period;com&sol;jasonschreier&sol;status&sol;1002233419194093568&quest;ref&lowbar;src&equals;twsrc&percnt;5Etfw">May 31&comma; 2018<&sol;a><&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p><script async src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;platform&period;twitter&period;com&sol;widgets&period;js" charset&equals;"utf-8"><&sol;script><&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3>Knowns and Unknowns<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>The only currently confirmed detail is the game&&num;8217&semi;s name and setting&colon; ancient Greece&period; Rumors abound&comma; including that AC Odyssey will continue the story of Bayek and Aya&comma; but won&&num;8217&semi;t feature them as the protagonists&period; That said it looks as though both male and female characters will be playable&period; And the helmet in the logo looks very similar to that of Leonidas I who was the warrior king of the Greek city-state Sparta&period; That guy that screamed &&num;8220&semi;This is Sparta&excl;&&num;8221&semi; before kicking a man to plummet to his death in the movie 300&comma; yeah&comma; that&&num;8217&semi;s who we&&num;8217&semi;re talking about&period; We also saw a short trailer teaser with a similar kicking scene&period; Other rumors indicate that there will be dialogue options similar to those in The Witcher to enhance its RPG nature&period; But&comma; perhaps the biggest rumor is that AC Odyssey will be out this year&period; This is surprising since Ubisoft made such a big deal about how they took three years to make Origins&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Origins was the best AC game in years&period; And while Ubisoft realizing that fact and expanding on the Origins world and gameplay is exciting&comma; I can&&num;8217&semi;t help but be wary about how a shorter development cycle hurt previous AC games&period; While Odyssey certainly won&&num;8217&semi;t be the reinvention that Origins was&comma; we&&num;8217&semi;ll get a better look at Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed Odyssey at Ubisoft&&num;8217&semi;s E3 conference on June 11&comma; 1 PM PT&period; Be sure to keep following BagoGames for the latest in gaming news&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
