Assassin’s Creed to Spend More Time on Desmond

According to Ubisoft, Desmond’s story is far from over. In Assassin’s Creed III, players are going to “experience more” of Desmond’s story “than [they] ever have before.”

In an interview with CVG, lead writer Matt Turner said the game will spend more time in “the present.”

“All I can say about Desmond’s story is you’re going to experience more Desmond that you’ve ever had before,” he said. “We’re spending more time on the present than we have in past games.”

“It’s a big part of our story and I don’t really want to give too many details away because I want people to experience what that is. But rest assured, you’re going to see a lot of Desmond. More so than in any past game.”

Turner continued by saying it was a lot harder to write the story for this game due to how well the American Revolution had been documented, so the team had to be really careful.

Assassin’s Creed III will be available in October for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. The game will also be releeasing on the Wii U.
