In the latest post on the UbiBlog, Ubisoft revealed that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will not be making its way onto the platform until November 19, 2015. The game is being held back in order to ensure a stable and fully optimized launch.
The team at Ubisoft Kiev is working on the PC version of the game and as Sam Kovalev, Studio Production Manager at Ubisoft Kiev, notes, the additional time is meant only to make sure the game runs smoothly once it is released. Seeing how Ubisoft has had such a hard time with Assassin’s Creed Unity on consoles, it makes sense that they would give extra time to a version of the game that isn’t the primary platform for development.
PC requirements seem to still require finalization, according to the post, as they are working with a plethora of PC setups to ensure proper specifications are released. For those who like to push their games, there won’t seem to be any locks on the framerate or resolution. The team is aiming for 1080p and 30 FPS.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions are still set to be launched on October 23, 2015.
