FUNimation posted the Attack on Titan Season 2 promo video that reveals new information for the anime’s story.
After many years of waiting, fans of the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s Shingeki no Kyojin manga series may find some long-awaited answers to questions they’ve been pondering. This show has helped make Japanese animation more visible in North America with it’s major Western following. One of the quotes featured in the promo video sticks out among all the others: “Titans have been protecting us from the other Titans this entire time”. For those who have only watched the anime, it is a complete mystery that could have multiple answers.
Within this short video, we see a new titan class: the Beast Titan. Plus, we see some new characters and locations outside the Walls that will harbor some intense battles. The confirmed list of returning characters are: Sasha Braus, Christa Lenz, Conny Springer, Reiner Braun, Bertholdt, Ymir, Erwin Smith, Hange Zoe and of course Levi and Eren Jager. Attack on Titan Season 2 will begin to air on Japanese TV stations in April 2017.
