Avengers: Battle for Earth Coming Soon… With Motion Controls

<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;avengers-battle-earth-coming-motion-controls&sol;imagesca5tvc4s&sol;" rel&equals;"attachment wp-att-13970"><img class&equals;"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13970" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2012&sol;05&sol;06205829&sol;imagesCA5TVC4S&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"299" height&equals;"168" &sol;><&sol;a>If you&&num;8217&semi;ve heard the rumors about a new Avengers game forthcoming then you can now take it as fact&period; <em>The Avengers&colon; Battle for Earth<&sol;em> is coming from Marvel Entertainment and Ubisoft&period; The tidbit that may be most surprising however&comma; is that it will be coming out for the yet-to-be-released Wii-U and Kinect for the Xbox 360&period; That&&num;8217&semi;s right&comma; folks&comma; motion controls&period; Looks like the phrase &&num;8220&semi;Hulk Smash&&num;8221&semi; could now encompass your living room furniture&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Ubisoft EMEA Marketing and Sales Director at Ubisoft&comma; Geoffroy Sardin&comma; promises that we will see &&num;8220&semi;extensive combinations of characters&comma; motion-controlled moves and competitive gameplay&period;” There is also currently over twenty different Marvel characters to be included as well as several locations familiar to fans of the Avengers universe&period; For more information you can check out the game&&num;8217&semi;s official website <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;avengersbattleforearth&period;us&period;ubi&period;com&sol;">here<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Call me crabby but I do not take this as great news&period; Although <em>The Avengers<&sol;em> was the best movie I had seen in years and I was excited about the prospect of a new game to go along with it&period; When you throw in the whole &&num;8220&semi;motion control&&num;8221&semi; gimmick however&comma; I begin to lose interest&period; I&&num;8217&semi;ve yet to play a motion controlled video game that I could stand for more than a few minutes and it will take a major shift in the gameplay to change my mind&period; Can <em>Avengers&colon; Battle for Earth <&sol;em>sway my stance on motion controls&quest; Only time will tell&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>How about you&quest; What do you think about this news&quest; What are your thoughts on motion controls in general&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
