We once again have another financial/earnings call that confirms the existence of an upcoming game. This time around though, it’s Warner Bros. confirming another entry into the Batman Arkham series.
“In fact, Warner’s digital home video revenue, including SVOD, VOD and EST, approached $1 billion in 2012, and we expect it to grow close to 20% in 2013,” said John K. Martin, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
“And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise,” he later added.
With this confirmation, we may very well be able to expect an official announcement soon. Until then, however, we can only speculate and slowly get excited. Maybe the next entry will be that Silver Age setting we heard about a while back from Variety.
