Warner Bros. has confirmed that the multiplayer mode in Batman Origins will not be coming to the Wii U version.

This is yet another insult to Nintendo’s next generation console which is continuing to feel pressure from developers releasing what fans deem as ‘lesser’ games on its new console in addition to major retailers (ASDA in the UK) also choose not to stock the console on store shelves.

When asked to give a reason of not including the multiplayer mode, a Warner Bros. spokesperson said:
“MP will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The team is focusing development efforts on platforms with the largest MP audience.”
