Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Moved to March 2016

<p>As Marvel Studios refused to budge from placing <em>Captain America 3<&sol;em>&comma; Warner Brothers is moving up their next big DC Comics film into the spring of 2016&period; <em>Batman V Superman&colon; Dawn of Justice<&sol;em> has been moved from May 6&comma; 2016 to <strong>March 25&comma; 2016<&sol;strong>&period; This will place the crossover hero film out of the summer blockbuster competition allowing it to gain significant ground in a less competitive season for superhero films&period; Almost seems as if they&&num;8217&semi;re taking a cue from Marvel Studios who released <em>Captain America The Winter Soldie<&sol;em>r in April of 2014 and dominated the box office for a full month&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In the coming months&comma; we are likely to see some more scheduling shifting as DC and Marvel compete for future release dates&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Batman V Superman&colon; Dawn of Justice<&sol;em> will be the second DC Comics film directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavil in the role of Superman&period; Ben Affleck will be filling the role of a slightly older Batman&period; The film will also feature appearances by characters Wonder Woman&comma; Lex Luthor&comma; Aquaman and Cyborg&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;thewrap&period;com&sol;warner-bros-blinks-in-marvel-showdown-batman-v-superman-avoids-captain-america-3&sol;">The Wrap<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
