Battleborn Has Received Its Final Update

<p><em>Battleborn<&sol;em> was the hero-shooter that tried to do some interesting things as far as hero-shooters go&comma; however it never quite got the love it deserved&period; Not even a year and a half after its release&comma; <em>Battleborn<&sol;em> has received one last update&period; The update includes a number of balancing tweaks to the characters and to the PVP modes&comma; as well as a number of new skins&comma; variants&comma; finishers and taunts&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;130860" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-130860" style&equals;"width&colon; 1000px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"size-large wp-image-130860" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2017&sol;10&sol;24133728&sol;Battleborn&lowbar;Incursion&lowbar;Sentry&lowbar;Combat&lowbar;02-1024x576&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"1000" height&equals;"563" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-130860" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">Battleborn&comma; 2K Games<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>All characters receive a couple of new color variations as far as unlockable skins go&comma; but the more notable skin addition is that of <em>Battleborn<&sol;em> characters dressed as <em>Borderlands<&sol;em> characters&comma; such as Clap Trap or Tiny Tina&period; The skins actually look really good&comma; and feel a bit of a tease to tide gamers over until Borderlands 3 is officially revealed&period; New titles have been added or updated&comma; so as to give players a little something extra to work towards while there is still somewhat of an active player base&period; There is also a change to &&num;8220&semi;skill damage growth formulas&&num;8221&semi; that bases their scaling on percentages&period; &&num;8220&semi;Prior to these changes&comma; low damage skills became relatively more powerful as players leveled up when compared to high damage skills and attacks&period; These changes are intended to normalize those relationships so that as players level up&comma; strength relationships are preserved&period;&&num;8221&semi; For all of the details of the update&comma; feel free to check out Gearbox&&num;8217&semi;s <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;gearboxsoftware&period;zendesk&period;com&sol;hc&sol;en-us&sol;articles&sol;210007213-PC-Update-Hot-fix-Information">Patch Notes<&sol;a>&period; The servers will remain up for the foreseeable future&comma; with no details so far as to when the game will be taken offline&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Battleborn<&sol;em> had plenty going for it&period; The game had a lengthy campaign mode with an interesting&comma; if sometimes formulaic sci-fi story&period; The PvP was a highlight though&comma; combining hero-shooter variations with MOBA designs&comma; through a variety of modes&period; The DLC released over the year varied in quality&comma; but there were some memorable moments in them&comma; and they added plenty to unlock&period; Its sad to say goodbye to the game&comma; and hopefully some day Gearbox will be able to revisit the characters and setting and give the series the chance it deserves&period; For now&comma; farewell <em>Battleborn<&sol;em>&comma; we hardly knew ye&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;gearboxsoftware&period;zendesk&period;com&sol;hc&sol;en-us&sol;articles&sol;210007213-PC-Update-Hot-fix-Information">Gearbox<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
