Nintendo announced through Twitter that they are re-releasing Bayonetta 2 as a standalone title on the WiiU February 19th.

The retail copy of the game will be sold for $29.99 USD. Originally, Bayonetta 2 was released alongside the first Bayonetta game for the Wii U in 2014. The re-release of Bayonetta 2 only comes with the copy of that game for the lower price of $29.99. However, the Nintendo eSHop does offer the first Bayonetta as a stand-alone digital download for $29.99 in addition to a bundle price of $59.98 for both games.
Bayonetta will be a DLC character for Super Smash Bros. and will be available on the Nintendo eShop sometime in February, as well.
