A Wii U exclusive, Bayonetta 2, is heading to store shelves this year in 2014! Just like the mysterious X game, Bayonetta 2 has limited information made known to the public. Nintendo has announced this week that the game will feature two-player mode. The reason behind Bayonetta‘s squeal being a Wii U exclusive title is Platinum Games wanted to partner with a company willing to work together. A Platinum Games producer, Atsushi Inaba, explained to Gamasutra what it is like working with Nintendo:
“Working with Nintendo, one thing that comes out of that is that we’re not able to cover up weaknesses in the core gameplay by making the graphics prettier or adding cutscenes, or whatever… The concern, first and foremost, is the core of the game and the quality of the gameplay. They really have our back in that sense. And that’s actually a little bit unnerving, working with people who are such perfectionists in that sense”
Nintendo fans have high expectations for this game and Bayonetta 2 will hopefully live up to them. Check out the new trailer and come visit Bagogames.com for new updates on Bayonetta 2.
