When the surprising news was revealed by Ubisoft last week that Rayman Legends will no longer be a Wii U exclusive (and thus will be delayed until September 2013) many suspected the Wii U of losing its other exclusives such as Bayonetta 2, a game which many, many gamers are in dire desire of.

Speaking through Twitter, the co-founder of PlatinumGames, Hideki Kamiya, has said the following:

“We’re a development company… Nintendo gives us money, we make Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101, and they sell it. So if Nintendo says ‘We’re putting Bayonetta 2 on PS3 and 360’ it’ll come out on those platforms… So ask Nintendo about it…”

What are your thoughts on the future of Wii U exclusives? Can you see other titles that Nintendo has tried to secure shift to other platforms?
