BBTAG 2.0 Patch Notes: What’s New for BBTAG?

BBTAG 2&period;0 will bring with itself new characters and mechanics that will revamp the game&period; In fact&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;arc-system-double-fighting-feature-guilty-gear-xrd-revelator&sol;">Arc System Works<&sol;a> couldn&&num;8217&semi;t contain themselves and have released the game&&num;8217&semi;s patch notes a day ahead of release&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>So&comma; what are the changes and what&&num;8217&semi;s in the BBTAG 2&period;0 patch notes&quest; Let&&num;8217&semi;s look at the changes to gameplay mechanics&comma; the new stuff that&&num;8217&semi;s been added&comma; center&semi;">Cross Raid<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>After landing the final hit of Smart Combo 1&comma; you can switch in your partner with an incoming attack by pressing A once more&period; Successfully landing the Cross Raid attack will switch in your partner in the Active Switch powered-up state&period; However&comma; your partner will have to be at the back to be able to use Cross Raid and using it will use up all remaining Cross Gauge&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Think of the Cross Raid as a fancier way to bring your partner in without having to use Burst&period; center&semi;">Extra Assault<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>Whenever you perform a Clash Assault&comma; you&&num;8217&semi;ll have the chance to add a little bit more damage with this new mechanic&period; This attack can only happen when you press C at the end of a Clash&period; center&semi;">Rampage Time<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>This might scare some of our more seasoned players in the FGC&period; When the timer in the match reaches 80 seconds&comma; both players start gaining Skill Gauge automatically&period; This will cause Skill Gauges for both players to increase continuously&period; The amount of Skill Gauge gained increases as the match approaches time-up&period; This is done to prevent stalemates but can be used by people reliant on projectile supers&comma; center&semi;">Delay Entry<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>Before BBTAG 2&period;0 dropped&comma; it was pretty easy for players to take out an incoming enemy because their entry animation was telegraphed&period; This is prevented with this new mechanic that allows you to stall the entry of your character&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>That&&num;8217&semi;s right&comma; with Delay Entry you can press A&comma; B&comma; or C to delay your character&&num;8217&semi;s entrance to the battlefield&period; This can be done for up to a second of stalling&period; This way&comma; players will be required to be at the top of their game if they want to punish the entry animation on reaction instead of on timing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"size-full wp-image-149680 aligncenter" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2019&sol;11&sol;20035108&sol;BBTAG-Version-2&period;0-Cross-Raid-2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"BBTAG 2&period;0" width&equals;"750" height&equals;"400" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<h2 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">Other Mechanic Changes<&sol;h2>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">Characters’ Health<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>Thanks to the BBTAG 2&period;0 patch notes&comma; we now know that the characters&&num;8217&semi; health has been changed&period; The changes are quite dramatic for certain characters&period; However&comma; some other characters have remained unchanged as well&period; Each characters’health has been adjusted accordingly as follows&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Characters with 14000 health &srarr;adjusted to 16000&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Characters with 16000 health &srarr;adjusted to 17000&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>No adjustment has been made to characters with 18000 and 20000 health<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">Command Throws<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>Some command throws for characters like Kanji&comma; Waldstein&comma; and Tager have been changed&period; There will be a Throw Invulnerability from the startup to the end of the attack active frame for all against ground command grab that uses Skill Gauge&period; The throw invulnerability will run out for chargeable attacks such as Tager’s &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Gigantic Tager Driver &lpar;EX ver&period;&rpar;” after charging it after some time&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">Training Mode Changes<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>New functions for Training Mode have been added to the game&period; One allows you to switch your main character and sub-character&period; The second function allows you to change your opponent&&num;8217&semi;s main character and sub-character&period; There&&num;8217&semi;s also a minor tweak for Counterattack settings which lets you have the counterattack to occur after receiving damage&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">Misc&period; Changes<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>There&&num;8217&semi;s some stuff that we could lump together according to the BBTAG 2&period;0 Patch Notes&period; So we&&num;8217&semi;ll list the changes here in list form to let you know what these changes are&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Persona Break&colon; Reduce the percentage of damage received by half when a Persona Break occurs&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Clash Assault&colon; Increased the damage of the 2 person Clash Assault&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Resonance Blaze &lpar;Aerial&rpar;&colon; Changed the hit invulnerability of the landing recovery to complete invulnerability&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Smart Combo 1&colon; Adjusted the knockback and changed the actions of various characters so that the final hit is easier to connect when hitting an opponent in mid-air&period; The final hit cannot be Cross Burst&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Down Entrance&colon; It has been revamped with changes to various elements such as the tracking of the move&period; This makes the incoming attack harder to avoid with back and forward movement&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Reversal Action &lpar;Counter-type&rpar;&colon;
