Irrational Games has announced two pieces of DLC for their highly acclaimed BioShock Infinite. Finally, people can put their Season Passes to use and prepare themselves for another adventure with Booker and Elizabeth.
The first add-on for the game, Clash in the Clouds, gives players four new environments to do nothing but fight off wave after wave of enemies. You’re encouraged to complete the Blue Ribbon Challenges and unlock various pieces of concept art, Voxophones, Kinetoscopes, and more for The Columbian Archeological Society, where they’ll all be viewable and, presumably, interactive. Clash in the Clouds is out now for PSN, Xbox Live and Steam for $4.99/400 MS Points, should you not have the Season Pass.
The second add-on, Burial at Sea, will be a two-part story surrounding Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth in Rapture on the eve of ‘it’s fall from grace.’ Gameplay is said to have been tweaked to bring together the best bits from BioShock and BioShock Infinite, resulting in new weapons, new Plasmids/Vigors, Tears, Sky-Lines, and Big Daddies. In an interview with IGN, Ken Levine revealed that, in the second episode, you’ll be playing as Elizabeth and the game will be ‘even more towards a survival horror game.’
No date has been given for either of the Burial at Sea episodes, buy they are supposed to be priced at $14.99 for those without the Season Pass.
