2K Games fans have lots to look forward to. One of the biggest draws is the announcement of BioShock: The Collection for Nintendo Switch. The collection includes BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. This announcement came earlier today from publisher 2K and developer Virtuos.
BioShock: The Collection originally released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam in September 2016. The game also released on Mac computers in August 2017. All three titles and their monumental stories will be available to play in their entirety on Nintendo Switch.
In the first two titles, the player explores the underwater city of Rapture, tasked with fighting through the city. The series looks for the player to not only fight their way through, but to also outsmart other characters and enemies.

BioShock: The Collection’s release on Switch is rather strange in its content, though. in a press release from 2K, the game is supposed to get a physical release too. However, what makes it strange, is that each of the three included titles have their opening acts on the game card if a physical copy is purchased.
This means that every other bit of the respective titles require a network connection to download, per game. That makes it almost demotivating to even purchase the game physically. Presumably, the Nintendo eShop version would have everything included without any additional downloads. This would also exchange for much more time spent downloading.
BioShock: The Collection releases on May 29th on Nintendo Switch.
