Greg Zeschuk, cofounder of BioWare has been very open in regards to his departure of the company in September and in a recent interview with Polygon has revealed the exact details about why he left the video game industry to produce a web series all about crafting beer (The Beer Diaries).
“I just felt like my passion was waning. And I am very much a creature of passion and so I kind of looked at myself and go ‘OK, If I was to do something else what would I do? What would I really feel engaged in? What would I really enjoy?'”
Although it is a major shame that Greg Zeschuk had to leave the company which has graced us with such amazing titles such as Dragon Age and the Mass Effect series it is inspiring to hear of one of the video game industries heroes follow his passion/dreams.
