Bioware Job Listing Teases a Multiplayer For The Next Mass Effect

We’ve known that a new Mass Effect’s been in the pipeline for a while now, but a recent job listing from Bioware’s confirmed that the studio’s also working on making a multiplayer-fueled affair too.

The news comes from project lead Chris Wynn most recent tweet, which read, “Things are getting real now and I need an excellent Producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect.”

While the tweet itself may not have specified multiplayer, this more detailed job posting (translated from French) does, listing one of the main duties of the position as the ability to “Create…multiplayer connected experiences.”

In the meantime, Mass Effect will carry on without its lead writer and co-creator, Casey Hudson, and will allegedly follow a new story apart from Commander Shepard’s, which saw its divisive conclusion in Mass Effect 3. The game has yet to be titled and will reportedly feature a Mako vehicle as well as the Krogan species of which one of the series’ characters, Wrex, hails from.
