Treyarch has recently posted a long, long list of actions which will get players of the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 banned from playing online multiplayer.

Bans can range from forty-eight hours up to two weeks if they are temporary, obviously the more you get banned from playing the online multiplayer mode, the longer the ban will be until we assume you are locked out of the service for good.

The list of rules can be found here although the vast majority is common sense which many gamers are used to following anyway (read: common sense).

Modding/Hacking, Pirated Content and Boosting all appear on the list alongside using unsupported devices/applications, glitching and the range of offensive emblems/tags etc.

Please just be good. You’ll enjoy the game a lot more in the long run.
